Pepsi came out with a drink that seems to only have one calorie. But for it to only have one calorie, they must have had to replace all of those other calories with some sort of substitute and they dont advertise what it is. Lately pepsi have been advertising there new drink in europe with pictures of one calorie all by itself wanting to kill itself because it is very lonely. Now how would someone who is lonely in life feel if they saw this image. Don’t you think they would feel like killing themselfs because they are lonely. There are people out there who have no friends and are very lonely. They do not have a social life, and I don’t think they would want to see this. That is why i feel very bad for these type of people and we should do something about it to make them feel better. I understand that they are very shy and quiet but some times these people should get together with other people and have more of a social life because most of the suicide cases are lonely people and this should stop because its getting me sick to see these people kill themselves cause there depressed!

Winter Olympics!!

I say that it’s good that the olympics are coming to canada but i don’t understand, when are they gonna come to montreal!!!I mean ok i’m excited there coming to canada but it doesn’t mean i can go watch them cause there still on the other side of the world almost considering how far it is!!!When they come to montreal, that will be the day!! I love the winter olympics because it has many sports i love to watch and even some i play. hockey is probably the sport i’m loooking most forward to because i actually follow it and i know exactly who the players are since i watch them yearly on nhl. the way i look at it is like an all star game but were everyone is trying because it’s the best of the best from every country and they are all trying to get that gold medal around their neck. all in all im excited for the 2010 olympics and i hope it is a great outcome and that canada is represented and the beautiful country it is and maybe get people to stop thinking we live in igloos and we are also humans.

Education!!

Many people that live in the farms are dropping out of school because they know they’re only going to go work on the family farm no matter what education. That is one main reason why people in the suburbs don’t really care about there education!! But there is one thing they should realize which is that its still important to get a good education because due to this reccesion i think only big farming companies will survive and those people that worked for there little family farm end up closing down, what will they do to survive without a proper education i highly doubt they will get a good job to make enough money to pay all there bills. That is why it very important in my eyes that we should all get a good education even though we have our lives set up for us already. Hopefully this reccesion does not affect us that much that will force many little farms to close because i will feel bad for those people.

10. The Camera: I believ ethe camera is still a great invention for the reason it can capture a moment during life and freeze it to a pin and hold a picture of what it captured.

9. School, as much as i hate school we would all be lost without it.

8. car – sure cars are the main reason why global warming is occuring but a car is the best thing anyone would ever want. espeacially when you have some nights where the weather is freezing cold and you have to walk five minutes to go somewhere, the whole time you’ll be wishing you had a car and we should all be greatful for it.

7. Clothes, Clothes keep us warm, and keep us from being in the nude, everyone would freeze if we would have to walk naked, it also gives people their own style they can show their personality through these clothes.

6. Computer: A computer is soemthing that amazed everyone when it first came out. How can a object have so much information and can be so powerful and control 90% of our world today? This invention is a main source in our socitey today.

5. cell phone – having a phone is pretty sweet because you can talk to whoever you want whenever you wanted but you had to be in your house. this invention just makes your life a lot easier because you can communicate with anyone at any time. if ever there is a problem with your night you can find out a solution right away because who doesnt have a cell phone in todays society?

4. The Lightbulb: The lightbulb is what we relie on to this day to give us light to be able to see and to bring us electricity that provids us many great appliances that humans cannot live without. Brightening up our future was a great idea.

3. Medication: many people became sick over the years, and different type of diseases where discovered. But with all the medication we have we have maintened the growth and saved lives that could of died, and to me thats something where still increasing today but its a gift from god.

2. Sports, sports are my life without them i would not be the same person as i am, my life is around sports, they keep me entertained, i play them, everything about me comes from sports. Sports have helped me learn how to live in a society they teach peole so many things and they are just fun, playing sports is like school but a million times more fun.

1. internet – best invention to date. how would i be able to write the blog or how hould you be able to read it if it weren’t for the beautiful thing called the internet. anything you ever wanted is accesible by the internet. if you need directions, internet. if you need to pass some time, internet. if you want to chat with some of your firend or interact with others on a game, internet. no matter what you do in your life today, it is somehow touched by the internet.

youtube is a great site to kill off some time and watch some funny videos of people doing so stupid or crazy things. the reason why this site is so fun to go on and you’ll always manage to kill time is not only because of the videos, but also the way it’s designed. This website looks very plane and normal,. no fancy links on the website just pure videos. People from all around the world can see what kind of video you put up and its funny to see people actually look at you doing stupid things with your friends. I loved the idea when it first came out and i still do. I think youtube is one of the most popular websites out there, everyone knows about it and everyone is always watching stupid and funny videos on it. It is also a very useful website that is good for projects and documentaries because whenever you need a video of something, its always there for you therefore i live youtube and always will love it.

New President

On January 20Th 2009, Barack Obama took the oath of office as the 44th president of The United States in front of 3 million people. barack obama then gave his Inauguration to the people and what he will provide for the future. one of his quotes was “all are equal, all are free and everyone deserves the pursuit to happiness” and this quote touched me because i’ve done many english tests that have dealt with racism and ive written who knows how many essays about equality but i always thought that it was just put in there to try to change the way kids think but to see the man who is on top of the world say it, and see a positive response by over 3 million people is incredible. Obama had a huge crowd at his inaguration, 3 million people to be exact. Obama is the new face of america, he is the new leader, what also got my attention is when he said ”Our spirit is stronger, It cannot be broken, you cannot outlast us and we will defeat you” when he said it, he said it with enthuisim it showed that he actually believed what he said and that he will accomplish his goal to remake america.

Christmas!!!

Christmas in my family is one of the most parts of the year. it is that time of the year when i get together with my family and enjoy time together. My family is really big so christmas eve, i spend it on my dads side of that family and christmas day on my moms side of the family. For christmas both sides of my family are heavy eater so there is always alot of food at the dinner table. It is basically a seven corse meal but with more food that you can imagine. In my family, there is always many gift exchangesa and alot of gambling with the family members playing cards. But the most important thing to think about is our health theses days and some people don’t realize it.people always tend to forget about the real meaning of christmas. For example when its close to christmas, all you see on television is comercials of all the christmas specials and all the promotiign going on. but you don’t see that in a third world county, do you? Thats what people don’t realize that many of us are more fortunate then others and we have to take that into consideration and share the love and health and christmas is not always about spending money on loved ones. Its caring about otheres that counts.

The elections!!

What’s happening with our government right now is that the conservatives won but with a minority, so everyone else teamed up and their numbers combined are greater than the conservatives. They are trying to take them out basically. But when everyone else teams up, it makes them look like losers. Everyone gave a fair fight and it showed. Just because you loose doesn’t mean that you should all tem up to take out the person that won. They should just learn from their mistakes like really people do and try their best next elections. To me, they are a bunch of a babies that can’t take defeat. Ok maybe not everyone likes the conservatives but for them to win again, someone obviously didn’t do something about it like they should have. But yet again thats my opinion. The other parties reacted after the elections and woke up after they lost but the question is why did they give that effort before the elections. To me honeslty, I really couldn’t care less about the governement unless it involves war. but maybe the government should stop investing money in campains and start investiong money in the cites where the money is really needed like on the roads and health issues.

To me watching sports is what makes my day when I’m in a pist off mood, I’ve played many sports in teams such as hockey, soccer and football!!! Lets put it this way, those are the only sports I watch and enjoy playing because I am very talented at them. Hockey has always and will always been my ultimate sport that I enjoy watching and playing due to the fact that there is so much action in the game which makes it so much more interesting. For instance when you see such a great hit or someone starts a fight, thats when the game gets interesting. I enjoy watching football because I like to see player get tackled and see how much they get cracked!!Also watching sports is a big excuse to gamble, party, take trips etc. It gives people things to do for example if you never watched sports and one day you find out if you bet on this team correctly you can make alot of money. When your bored or can’t do anything else, sports are always fun to watch. Once and a while some likes to see a good game of hockey or football!! When you know play the sport and watch the sport, it’s even more fun.

Going green or not???

Going green is the new thing that everyone wants to do because of all the bad things happening with garbage dumps and the ozone layer. Some people just buy things because they think it is environmentally friendly or that they are actually saving the planet buy just buyin that brand. They don’t realize that people can say things but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. For example when you go on the bus its it’s written that the bus companies are using 5% bio-fuel, okay there using 5% just to show that their trying to help the environment but do you think they really care. The company does thast just to tell us “Look were using 5% bio-fuel, were doing our part!” But honestly do you think 5% actually makes a difference. If it was maybe atleast 25%, then we would consider that they are tring to make a difference. Making a drifference is when the whole planet works together as in all of us recycling the proper way, and everyone trying to make an effort. Just think about it if every vehicle or plane used 25-50% bio-fuel, how much of a difference it would be. But anyways the harm is already done, and theres nothing really to fix it, so we shouldn’t bother!!!!!! It’s not like anyone cares anyway!!!
